PKR Tournaments

The PKR tournament schedule is continually being updated to ensure that PKR tournaments are some of the most varied and rewarding out there. Most recently, PKR have updated their tournament schedule to allow players from Australia and Canada to get involved in the action at times more friendly to themselves.

Currently the PKR Tournament Schedule looks like this:

The PKR Masters

This is the big one. Currently being run twice a month, the Masters kicks off at 19.40GMT and offers a guaranteed $100,000 prize pool. Players can buy-in directly for $250 or try to qualify via a number of satellites which start at just $1.28

The High Roller

A new event, the High Roller takes place on alternate weeks to the PKR Masters. Buying in directly will set players back a cool $500, although there is a guaranteed prize pool of $30,000. Higher value can be found by players qualifying via the range of satellites which run in the lead up to the event.

PKR Primetime

Sunday afternoon’s will never be the same again now that the prize pool for PKR’s Primetime tournament has increased from $25k to $30k. The action gets under way at 17.10GM and there are a huge number of satellites starting at just $1.28. Alternatively, players can buy in to the final table for $200.

Deep Stack Grand Prix

The Grand Prix is one of the most popular tournaments on the PKR schedule. It runs every day at 20:55GMT and guarantees a $5,000 prize pool. A large number of satellites run throughout each day or alternatively, players can buy in directly for $100.

Aussie Classic & Aussie Open

PKR ensure that there are plenty of games running at Aussie friendly times, but they don’t come much bigger than the Aussie Classic and the Aussie Open. The prize pool involved in the Classic has increased to $6,000 with the action starting at 09.00GMT on Sunday.

The Aussie Open is brand new and runs from Monday-Saturday at the same time. Buy-in for the Classic is $40 and $30 for the Open.

Canadian Open

PKR have opened their arms specifically to the Canadian public by running a $3k Guaranteed Tournament at a Canadian friendly time (02.30 GMT). Buy-in will cost $30.

Gold Rush

The Gold Rush is a hugely popular tournament at PKR because it offers such great value. With a prize pool of $5,000 and a buy-in of just $2, players have the opportunity to win big while staking a small amount.
